I spent the last few weeks processing what is truly happening to the world. It seems like we’re on the edge of not knowing what only God knows. It’s unnerving to be connected by this common thread of anxiety, panic, paranoia, and fear every single day. Our world and lifestyle have been flipped upside down, and people are finding ways to cope with this virus.⁣⁣
The world is looking to fulfil their social needs through digital connections, some are looking to meditation to calm their anxieties and others are looking for hope and answers. This crisis brought people together, it’s bringing forth challenges but also calling attention to deeper issues — matters of the heart. The Bible tells us in Heb. 3:4, “For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.” If our houses are built on just our Sunday best outfits, primmed up hairstyles, perfectly checked Sunday church attendance and relying on someone else to feed our souls… then how quickly are we knocked down right now. Maybe you’re not where you should be, but there’s still God’s grace and hope for you! ⁣⁣
Besides hair and style content, we’ll be starting a series #HerHearttoHisHeart where we’ll be hearing you ladies in real-time and how we can help each other grow God in our understanding, experiences, and in our focus. It’s time we establish our foundation – Jesus being our chief cornerstone. Let’s talk more about matters of the heart and be encouraged in truth to build on an unshakable foundation. I love this community of apostolic ladies! Let’s build our courage in Christ together — and we will always stand firm. ⁣
